ZXT8PR 8 Passive radiator
The ZXT8PR passive radiator is formed from the main components of a subwoofer minus the motor structure and voice coil, this component is used to enhance the output of a bass enclosure in both volume and low bass dynamics. Passivate radiators are often seen in home audio setups to add the lower bass rumble without compromising additional space, they are fitted alongside a powered subwoofer, and the internal pressure of the bass enclosure which is sealed moves the passive radiator to generate sound and air pressure.
Adding a passive radiator to your bass enclosure design will drastically enhance the bass response you will get and give the illusion of bigger subwoofers or larger enclosures from a much smaller footprint.
